A few months back I worked for the lovely and talented Mervyn Miller of @significant object. Sculpting and moulding some puppets heads for James II at the National theatre of Scotland and the National theatre in London.
Significant object who designed and directed puppetry for the James Plays for the National Theatre of Scotland, National Theatre of Great Britain and the Edinburgh International Festival. James II, the middle play in the trilogy of new plays written by Rona Munro and directed by NTS Artistic Director Laurie Sansom with set and costume designs by Jon Bausor.
The plays will be presented at the Edinburgh International Festival in August 2014 and will then play at the Olivier Theatre in London. An ensemble cast play in all three shows and manipulate the puppets, designed by Mervyn Millar and made by Tracy Waller and Paul Vincett (of Stitches and Glue).
